Soho Carnival
Soho Square hosted their annual Carnival this year on Friday 14th February. It was a beautiful day, with so many activities to choose from all around Soho at great value which made parents and children both very happy with the event.
The Carnival started with a parade of three large trucks and all the hotel’s club cars decorated by Soho. A real Carnival atmosphere was felt with a live South Afrcian Band “The Rockets” playing and singing for opening which saw 200 residents join the parade.
Once inside Akuna Matata the party began with a Rhythmic Gymnastics performance from Soho’s professional team, followed by a magic show and the famous costume competition. Yes there’s more….afterwards all the children could choose activities to try out in Soho’s all inclusive plan from bowling to ice skating to tennis and many more. Finally all the children and parents re-united for the prize giveaways and traditional Pinata smashing. The children could not of been happier, we hope to invite all of them again for the next carnival at Soho Square to enjoy the fun with us.
