Christmas witnesses a rise in tourists coming from Cairo to Luxor and Aswan
The distinctive Egypt Air Express planes enjoyed a high occupancy during the Christmas holidays
Helmy Rezk, the president of EgyptAir Express, which handles local and regional flights, said that the occupancy rate of flights to Luxor and Aswan reached 85% during Christmas.
He added to Al-Borsa that the company was operating four daily flights from Cairo to Aswan and five daily flights from Cairo to Luxor during the holiday season.
Tourists on board the flights included Americans, Libyans and Europeans. Rezk said the price of the tickets varied between EGP 600 and EGP 1500.
