British Airways to fly direct
Good news for Sharm el Sheikh’s International airport and it’s jet setting visitors.
British Airways who announced that they will be launching two direct flights to Cairo and Sharm el Sheikh in September from London Heathrow have now increased it to three flights per week.
Mervat al Alfi British Airway’s North Africa Commercial Director said they were targeting an increase of passenger rates per flight to an increase of 90% coming to Egypt this year.
He commented that British tourism never ceased despite the difficult times and now the company has optimistic views regarding travel movement to Egypt especially during the next two years hence the increase in direct flights.
