Katie Swan wins back to back titles in Sharm El Sheikh
Britain’s Katie Swan is celebrating back-to-back titles in Egypt after defeating Julia Wachaczyk at the $15,000 Sharm El Sheikh on the ITF Women’s Circuit.
Katie added Sunday’s 6-4, 7-5 victory over Germany’s Wachaczyk to her triumph at the same venue a week earlier, when she defeated Pemra Ozgen in straight sets.
The result means Katie has dropped just two sets in 10 matches on her way to twin titles in the Egyptian resort. The 17-year-old will be going for a hat trick of trophies this week when she enters her third $15,000 Sharm El Sheikh of the year.
