St Katherines’s Feast Day celebrations
On the 8th December St Katherines’s Monastery celebrated their patron Saint’s feast day with a religious procession around the grounds of the Monastery.
Each year many Sharmers make the journey to be part of this special event, where Bedouins mix with Coptic Monks in a special union regardless of cultures and different religions.
