Egypt the Great’
Possible new ‘Egypt the Great’ Exhibition in Sharm.
The Antiquities Minister and the Governor of South Sinai met to discuss a new exhibition in Sharm el Sheikh, in a bid to attract more tourists to Sinai. The exhibition which will be entitled Egypt the Great plans to display a collection of artifacts from pre-historic times up to the period of Mohamed Ali, an Ottaman-era army commander, considered to be the founder of modern Egypt in the early 19th century. The Minister added that the objects on display will be carefully selected from different museums across Egypt, as well as from archaeological sites in Al-Qantara Sharq and Sinai.
