EgyptAir Operates non-stop flights to more than 29 destinations starting 1 July

In light of the implementing plan set by the Egyptian government for the resumption of air traffic to / from the Egyptian Airports starting July 1st, and the steps taken by the Ministry of Civil Aviation in this regard, EGYPTAIR, the national carrier of Egypt, announced resuming its non-stop flights to more than 29 international destinations starting July 1st 2020.

The carrier announced the operation of flights to 17 destinations in Europe, 4 in Africa, 4 in the Middle East, 3 in North America in addition to Guangzhou in China.

“This decision comes in light of the intensive actions taken by EGYPTAIR to welcome its passengers starting July 1st” Stated Capt Roshdy Zakaria, EGYPTAIR HOLDING Chairman & CEO. Capt. Roshdy added “EGYPTAIR has been keen on providing all means of wellness and safety in all their steps with EGYPTAIR starting from booking their tickets through egyptair.com or contact center, and the precautions conducted at the airports to keep safe distances between customers and onboard our aircraft equipped with air filtration systems removing viruses and bacteria in addition to the safely packed meals and personal amenity kits. The company has been also keen to provide its employees with the personal protective equipment to keep them protected”.

On the other hand, Capt Amr AbuEl Enin, EGYPTAIR AIRLINES Chairman & CEO said “In light of these preparations and controls set by various countries, the company has developed an ascending plan to resume its flights to many cities. EGYPTAIR will start operation during the first week of July to 13 cities in Europe; (Amsterdam – Athens – Brussels – Budapest – Paris – Rome – Milan – London – Frankfurt – Berlin – Vienna and Istanbul) and flights to (Barcelona – Copenhagen – Geneva – Madrid) will be added within the next few weeks, 3 cities in Africa (Addis Ababa – Juba – Tunisia).

And flights to (Dar Al Salam) will be added in the coming weeks, 4 cities in the Middle East, namely (Dubai – Abu Dhabi – Sharjah – Beirut ), And 3 destinations in North America, namely (Washington – New York – Toronto) in addition to one point in the Far East to (Guangzhou – China) as of July 8. This is in addition to operating domestic flights to Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada, Luxor, and Aswan.
