‘SPIRIT TO SERVE OUR COMMUNITY INITIATIVE’
Sharm El Sheikh Marriott Red Sea Resort in conjunction with their sister properties in Egypt continue to do their utmost to serve both the local and wider community in as many ways as they can. The latest activity saw the resort staff collect ‘good quality no longer in use’ linen supplies to donate to the Egyptian Clothing Bank who will then distribute these items to the people in need within the community of Sinai.
Elaine Watson the General Manager commented “all of our associates and in particular our laundry team did a fantastic job of ensuring that all the items we had to donate were well laundered and well presented”. The items from the Sharm El Sheikh Marriott will be combined with the donated items from all other Marriott Hotels in Egypt which allows them to support this initiative in a meaningful way through their collective efforts.
Marriott Hotels in Egypt support the community where they live and work, Marriott International focuses on five global social issues: poverty alleviation, the environment, community workforce development, the wellbeing of children, and global diversity and inclusion.
