Petra Airlines
Petra Airlines, which in the past has predominantly worked in the charter sector, has launched twice-weekly (Mondays and Fridays) scheduled flights between its main base at Amman (AMM) in Jordan and Sharm El Sheikh (SSH) in Egypt. Starting on 17 March, the A320-operated, 468-kilometre sector will be flown in direct competition against Royal Jordanian Airlines (four times weekly), and will join the airline’s existing flights to Saudi Arabia (Dammam, Jeddah, Hofuf and Madinah) and Iraq (Erbil).
